Isao Miyazaki cries at Isao Takahata ‘Farewell Party’
Isao Takahata, animation film director from Studio Ghibli, passed away from lung cancer on April 5th, 2018, leaving a series of legendary works including ‘Future Boy Conan’, ”Heidi’, ‘Grave for the Fireflies’, and ‘The Tale of The Princess Kaguya’. Hayao Miyazaki looked back the memories with his hateful rival, great inspiration, and best friend Takahata (“Paku-san”), at the ceremony held in Ghibli Museum in Mitaka, Tokyo, on May 15th, 2018.
