STUDIO GHIBLI Anime Will Stream on HBO Max and NOT Disney Plus!

Studio Ghibli will be streaming its entire library on HBO Max and NOT Disney Plus. This news came days after Polygon said that Ghibli probably wouldn’t ever release their films digitally. Looks like anime is a hot commodity in the streaming wars. But Crunchyroll won’t be getting the Ghibli films, or at least it wasn’t announced that they would, despite being owned by WarnerMedia. The Studio Ghibli films that will be released on HBO Max are:

Castle in the Sky The Cat Returns From Up On Poppy Hill Howl’s Moving Castle Kiki’s Delivery Service My Neighbor Totoro My Neighbors the Yamadas Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind Ocean Waves Only Yesterday Pom Poko Ponyo Porco Rosso Princess Mononoke The Secret World of Arrietty Spirited Away The Tale of The Princess Kaguya Tales From Earthsea When Marnie Was There Whisper of the Heart The Wind Rises
